Vayunex was born from two realities: people getting exploited by tech they don’t understand, and brilliant talent from Tier-3 towns never getting a real shot. Our CSR is where we fix both.
Every year, a part of our profit, time, and team hours go into building career paths for underestimated talent and digital safety for vulnerable users — not as a side project, but as a core part of why Vayunex exists.
When you work with us, you’re not just paying for clean code and fast delivery. You’re funding scholarships, mentorships, rural upskilling, and privacy-first tools built for people who usually see tech last.
We don’t do “one photo per year with a giant cheque”. Our CSR is built like our products — clear, focused and long-term.
Training, mentoring and hiring talent from Tier-3 and overlooked regions — so great coders don’t need a fancy pin code to get a break.
Building workshops, resources and tools that help small businesses and families avoid scams, data theft and “IT expert” exploitation.
What started as fixing things for people who couldn’t afford an agency slowly became a proper, repeatable CSR program — backed by budget, process and accountability.
2020
Built first free sites & automations for local shops and small NGOs — no contracts, just “you need help, we have skills”.
2021 - 2022
Set aside a fixed percentage of profit and team hours for CSR. Started our first Tier-3 Developer Fellowship and pro-bono builds for education projects.
2023
Introduced a simple application process for NGOs, schools and rural initiatives. Launched digital-safety workshops for small businesses and community groups.
2024 - Today
Paying clients fund CSR. CSR surfaces new talent. That talent joins Vayunex or our network, and ends up building for the next generation. A full circle, in code.
Schools, NGOs, founders and community leaders tell us what’s broken. We ask a lot of “why” and “who does this help?”
We pick projects where our team + tech can move the needle: access, livelihoods, safety or education.
Same process, same standards. Pro-bono doesn’t mean “intern project” — you get the full Vayunex treatment.
We help you actually use what we built, track impact and refine — not disappear after the first “thank you” post.
Fellowships, internships, resume clinics and interview prep for developers who don’t come from “the usual” colleges. We don’t lower the bar — we remove the gate.
Simple, non-jargony training for shop owners, schools and families: how not to get scammed, how to protect data, and when to absolutely not click that link.
Websites, dashboards, automation and reporting for NGOs and grassroots initiatives — so they can focus on people, not paperwork.
We design infra that’s not just cheap and fast, but also efficient — fewer wasted resources, more thoughtful use of compute. Small but consistent climate-friendly decisions.
No vague promises. No “as per management decision”. Just clear answers about how we use our time and profit for good.
NGOs, schools, community projects, small groups and social startups who are trying to create real impact but don’t have the budget or in-house tech team. If tech is a blocker, we’re interested.
Our roots are in India, but we’re open to global projects — especially in education, healthcare, digital safety and access. If your impact is real and your need is clear, location is flexible.
Depends on scope and stage. Some projects are fully funded by us (pro-bono), others are low-bono or co-funded where both sides contribute. The goal is: don’t block impact because of paperwork or perfect budgets.
We focus on a few high-quality projects instead of a long list of half-done ones. The exact number changes year to year, but we always protect bandwidth so our CSR work doesn’t suffer.
Yes. If you’re a company looking for meaningful CSR instead of logo placement, we’re happy to co-design programs where your capital meets our execution and community network.
